If you’re anything like me, you’ve been telling yourself for too long that “one day” you’ll make a change. Well, my “one day” just turned into today.
Why now?
Because I’m watching small and medium businesses get hammered by the same preventable IT and security failures over and over again. And honestly? I’m tired of seeing good companies lose money, lose sleep, or nearly lose everything because technology was treated like a box to check instead of the backbone of the business.
I stay buried in cybersecurity research because I love it. I read the breach reports. I study the trends. And the truth is brutally simple:
SMBs aren’t failing because they’re careless—they’re failing because they’re outmatched.
You’re focused on running your business, serving customers, and keeping the lights on. You shouldn’t have to be a cybersecurity expert on top of that.
But here’s the uncomfortable part most leaders don’t want to admit:
You rely on your systems far more than you invest in them.
And that gap—the one between dependence and investment—is exactly where the threats slip in.
I’m not stepping into this to wag a finger or say “you should have known better.” I’m stepping into it because SMBs deserve better than crossed fingers and hope-as-a-strategy. You deserve clear guidance, plain language, and solutions that make sense for real businesses with real budgets.
My mission is to cut through the noise, strip away the intimidation, and give you the confidence to shore up the vulnerabilities you already suspect are there—and the ones you don’t see yet.
If we can help even a handful of businesses strengthen their defenses and breathe easier, then this change is not just overdue—it’s necessary.
